Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to help establish and lead engineering enablement capabilities for our Contact Center technology ecosystem.
This role will be a key member of a new Contact Center Central Platform Engineering capability focused on accelerating software delivery across multiple product teams through standardization, automation, reusable engineering capabilities and developer self-service.
The engineer will partner closely with product engineers, architecture, SRE and other technology teams to create developer platforms, golden paths, reusable CI/CD capabilities, Infrastructure as Code, workflow automation, observability patterns and engineering standards.
This is a highly hands-on engineering role with significant technical leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will help shift teams from independently building and maintaining common engineering capabilities toward a build once, automate once, standardize once and enable every team model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of Central Platform Engineering capabilities that accelerate software delivery across product teams
- Build developer platforms and golden paths providing reusable, self-service capabilities for React, Node.js, Java, Data/Analytics and GenAI workloads.
- Design and standardize CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, quality gates, security scanning, deployment and rollback capabilities.
- Develop reusable AWS Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and automate application/environment provisioning.
- Integrate and automate engineering workflows across GitHub, Jira, Slack, Confluence, AWS and CI/CD tooling.
- Partner with SRE and product teams to establish common observability, monitoring, SLO, resiliency and operational-readiness patterns.
- Enable AI/GenAI engineering through reusable delivery, evaluation, observability, security and guardrail patterns.
- Identify duplicated engineering work and convert common solutions into reusable platform capabilities and automation.
- Partner with embedded product-team engineers to drive standards, adoption, documentation and engineering best practices.
- Measure and continuously improve developer experience, delivery velocity, reliability and platform adoption.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience supporting cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or software delivery automation.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK), and AWS cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, branching and pull-request workflows, reusable workflows, automated testing and release automation
- Experience supporting application delivery across Java, Node.js, React, and/or data workloads.
- Experience with observability, reliability, DevSecOps, IAM, secrets management, and automated security controls.
- Experience enabling AI/GenAI workloads, including delivery automation, evaluation, guardrails, observability, and operational monitoring.
Additional / Desired Skills
- Experience building or supporting Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), platform engineering capabilities, golden paths or developer self-service solutions.
- Experience with containers and serverless technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, ECS, and AWS Lambda.
- Experience integrating and automating engineering workflows across GitHub, Jira, Slack, Confluence, CI/CD, and AWS.
- Knowledge of SRE practices, including SLIs/SLOs, resiliency, incident management, root-cause analysis, and performance engineering.
- Experience with data/analytics platforms, data pipelines, APIs, enterprise integration patterns; contact-center or Amazon Connect integration experience is a plus.
- Experience implementing automated governance, compliance and policy-as-code capabilities.

- Potential starting salary range: $100,000 - $142,000. Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience. High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
