About the Role
Join a lean engineering team building a new internal product for an industrial real estate investment business. As the first product-focused engineer, you will own the front end and help create data-rich tools that support investment decisions across multiple business functions.
What You'll Do
Own and improve the front-end codebase, refactoring early work, establishing a design system, and delivering new features.
Build user-facing experiences with data visualizations, maps, and AI-powered insights.
Work directly with internal users to understand workflows, gather requirements, and rapidly test prototypes.
Use Figma and AI tools to design, prototype, and ship product ideas, and help shape the roadmap with leadership.
Partner with backend and research colleagues to develop tools for additional business functions.
What We're Looking For
Four to ten years of frontend-heavy experience building and shipping production applications, including substantial ownership from scoping through deployment.
Strong experience with React and Next.js, data-intensive products, and visualization such as charts or maps.
Experience building enterprise products and complete user-facing experiences, not only isolated components or design systems.
Comfort designing and prototyping with Figma or similar tools, including AI coding and design tools.
Strong product judgment and experience gathering feedback directly from users and translating it into requirements.
A computer science degree or equivalent strong technical foundation, with at least two years at a large technology company or growth-stage startup.
Experience in real estate or a related data-intensive industry is relevant.
