Everforth ECS is seeking a talented Mobile Application Developer to join our dynamic data team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Our team supports public facing websites across DHS, in support of the mission essential Web Content Management program. The Mobile Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance mobile applications.
Responsibilities Include:
- Application Development: Design, code, test, and deploy native or cross-platform mobile applications (iOS/Android) that support DHS field operations.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all mobile applications adhere to strict DHS and federal cybersecurity standards, including data encryption, secure authentication, and FISMA compliance.
- System Integration: Integrate mobile applications with backend enterprise systems, databases, and real-time data feeds to provide actionable intelligence
- UI/UX Design: Create intuitive user interfaces optimized for field use, ensuring high usability under varying operational conditions.
- Maintenance & Optimization: Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates to ensure continuous availability and reliability.
Salary: $130,000 - $140,000

Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. BS/BA and 7+ years
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Hands on experience in mobile application development (Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter).
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, mobile security protocols, and cloud-based backend services (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).
- Knowledge of mobile data storage and testing frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to develop software solutions for complex, high-stakes operational environments.
