About the Role
Join the R&D team at a Series A robotics startup building software for AI-driven robots in production environments. You will work across the robotics stack to develop systems that improve how robots perform in real-world facilities.
What You'll Do
Coordinate real-time robot software, motion-planning optimization, and machine-learning pipelines across platforms.
Build and maintain data-labeling interfaces, perception systems, and compilers for robotic applications.
Work across firmware, robotics software, and cloud infrastructure to address key technical challenges.
Collaborate with teammates to design and ship software that supports robotic systems.
Deploy software in production facilities and help ensure it performs reliably in real-world use.
What We're Looking For
One to three years of software engineering experience in robotics, automation, or embedded systems.
A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, robotics, or a related engineering field.
Strong Python skills and experience with production robotics systems and hardware-software integration.
Experience building and shipping software for physical robotic systems, such as robotic arms, manipulation systems, or autonomous hardware.
Solid programming fundamentals; familiarity with TypeScript and React is a plus.
Experience with tools and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, systemd, ROS, C, or C++ is useful.
Ability to take ownership of engineering outcomes and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
