About the Role
Join the R&D team at a Series A robotics startup building software for AI-driven robots in production environments. You will work across the robotics stack to improve real-world robotic performance, from hardware-level systems to cloud infrastructure.
What You'll Do
Orchestrate real-time robot software, motion planning optimization systems, and machine learning pipelines across platforms.
Build and maintain data-labeling frontends, perception systems, and compilers for robot intelligence.
Work across the stack, from firmware to cloud infrastructure, to address high-priority technical challenges.
Collaborate with teammates to design and ship systems that help robots perform complex tasks.
Deploy software in customer facilities and improve performance in real production environments.
What We're Looking For
One to three years of software engineering experience in robotics, automation, or embedded systems.
Experience building and shipping software for physical robotic systems used in production or by customers, with ownership of outcomes end to end.
Strong programming fundamentals and proficiency in Python; experience with TypeScript and React is a plus.
A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, robotics, or a related engineering field.
Hands-on experience with hardware and software integration; familiarity with C/C++, ROS, motion planning, or robot optimization is beneficial.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or systemd is beneficial.
Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment with evolving priorities.
