About the Role
Join the R&D team at an early-stage robotics company building software for AI-driven robots in production environments. This hands-on role spans the robotics stack, with code that directly affects real-world system performance.
What You'll Do
Orchestrate real-time robot software, motion-planning optimization systems, and machine learning pipelines across platforms.
Build and maintain data-labeling frontends, perception systems, and compilers for robot intelligence.
Work across firmware, robotics software, and cloud infrastructure to address technical challenges.
Collaborate with teammates to design and ship systems that expand the capabilities of production robots.
Deploy software in customer facilities and improve robotic performance in real-world settings.
What We're Looking For
One to three years of software engineering experience in robotics, automation, or embedded systems.
Experience building and shipping software for physical robotic systems used in production or by customers, plus ownership of outcomes end to end.
Strong programming fundamentals and proficiency in Python; TypeScript and React are useful.
Hands-on experience with production robotics systems and hardware/software integration.
A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, robotics, or a related engineering field.
Experience in a fast-moving startup or high-ownership engineering environment, and flexibility to work across changing priorities.
Additional experience with Docker, Kubernetes, systemd, ROS, motion planning, C/C++, or robotics optimization is beneficial.
