About the Role
Join an engineering team building AI workflow automation for the insurance industry. In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you will understand enterprise brokerage workflows, build solutions on the platform, and help turn successful implementations into scalable product capabilities. The work is roughly 70% coding and 30% customer scoping.
What You'll Do
Own customer implementations from requirements gathering through deployment.
Work with enterprise customers after the sale to understand business problems and define technical solutions.
Build and ship AI agents and automations, often within the same week as initial customer conversations.
Bring successful customer-specific solutions into the core platform.
Partner with product and engineering teams to shape scalable features from customer insights.
What We're Looking For
Three to six years of software engineering, forward deployed, solutions, implementation, or product engineering experience.
Experience regularly working with customers to scope, build, and deploy solutions, alongside strong hands-on coding skills.
Full-stack proficiency and experience with Python and/or TypeScript.
Startup or software consulting experience, preferably at a venture-backed company.
Experience building or deploying production AI/ML automations or agentic workflows; familiarity with LLM automation pipelines is a plus.
Ability to manage enterprise deployments, switch between customer communication and focused engineering work, and take ownership in a fast-moving environment.
A degree from a highly regarded university or comparable academic background.
Insurance or financial services experience is helpful.
