About the Role
Join an AI-focused engineering software team building tools for designing physical systems. You will help accelerate product development by improving the user interface, then take on broader backend-focused work as the product and systems evolve.
What You'll Do
Work with the frontend team to improve the product interface and help ship updates to production.
Build new features and contribute to backend systems and infrastructure.
Own work end to end, from architecture through deployment and reliability.
Establish effective practices for developing software with AI coding agents.
Collaborate with engineering, AI research, and customer-facing teams to prototype and refine product ideas for industrial users.
What We're Looking For
Three to ten years of experience as a software or full stack engineer, including experience in an early-stage or startup environment.
Experience taking products or major features from concept to production, with strong ownership and adaptability as priorities change.
Backend-focused full stack skills, with working frontend capabilities and the ability to review and debug AI-generated code.
Experience with .NET, React, TypeScript, and AI coding agents.
Interest in physical systems, engineering design, CAD, or simulation.
Ability to work in Canada or the United States without visa sponsorship.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $200,000 to $275,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Remote in Canada, with one week onsite every six weeks in San Mateo, California.
