Summary:
We are seeking a Sr. ServiceNow Developer to support the design, configuration, development, and ongoing enhancement of our ServiceNow platform. This role will partner with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions that improve workflows, automation, reporting, and user experience across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, and support ServiceNow applications, workflows, catalog items, integrations, and platform enhancements.
- Develop and maintain business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, flows, notifications, and integrations using ServiceNow best practices.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions that are secure, scalable, and supportable.
- Support platform governance, upgrade readiness, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Strong hands-on experience developing and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience with ITSM, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, integrations, scripting, data model configuration, and platform administration.
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow development standards, security practices, and release management.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
How You’ll Be Successful:
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Full stack development experience Required
- At least 7 years At least 7+ years of software development experience Required
- At least 7 years 7+ years Fluency in ServiceNow, Java, Scala, C#, Javascript, Ruby, or Python Required
- At least 7 years 7+ years Experience in developing/testing/deploying/releasing native applications on iOS using Swift or Objective-C and Android SDKs/Frameworks. Required
- At least 7 years 7+ years experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design. Required
- At least 7 years 7+ years knowledge of SCRUM and agile development with experience working on an agile development team. Required
- Experience refactoring code and evolving architectures Required
- Experience crafting automated unit, integration, functional, and regression tests Required
- Experience developing cross-platform applications Required
- Experience with and understanding of a variety of both web and mobile platforms Required
- The ability to judge and recommend appropriate platform choices given context about a particular application Required
- Full lifecycle experience from conceptualization to development and deployment of web and mobile apps Required
- Knowledge of design patterns for mobile technologies Required
- Familiarity with multiple programming paradigms and the curiosity to learn new ones Preferred
- Techniques such as test-driven development and continuous integration Preferred
EDUCATION
- Master's Degree or equivalent experience Required
- Roles supporting a specific software must demonstrate competency in the software used in their role. All training and testing applicable to the role must be successfully completed and passed within 180 days of employment. Continuing education requirements must be completed and maintained for applications applicable to the role. Required
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Required: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Required: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM) or equivalent ServiceNow implementation certification.
- Preferred: ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture-related credential, such as Suite Certification – Enterprise Architecture, Certified Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM), or Enterprise Architecture Implementation accreditation.
