JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Software Engineer is a key technical contributor responsible for developing, maintaining, and integrating Do Supply’s software systems — including ERP, CRM, microservices, and web platforms. This individual will function as a full-stack developer with strong knowledge of data flow, business process automation, and API-driven architecture. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment focused on technical excellence, scalability, and innovation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Software Development

·       Design, build, and maintain custom software solutions that enhance internal business operations and customer experience.

·       Develop and support integrations between ERP, CRM, inventory management, analytics systems, and websites.

·       Collaborate with other developers to build APIs, automation tools, and services that improve efficiency and data accuracy.

·       Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software for performance, scalability, and reliability.

·       Web Development

·       Develop and maintain e-commerce and lead-generation websites as needed.

·       Maintain compatibility and integration with internal systems and third-party dependencies.

·       Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams on technical enhancements.

·       Follow and enforce best practices for security, reliability, and performance.

·       Collaboration & Technical Excellence

·       Work closely with the Director of Technology & Innovation and other developers to align software initiatives with company goals.

·       Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.

·       Document technical processes, system architectures, and development standards.

·       Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Required

·       Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

·       Proficiency in object-oriented programming and MVC frameworks.

·       Advanced experience with modern PHP and JavaScript.

·       Strong background in MySQL or other relational databases.

·       Experience applying best security practices (validation, sanitization, access control, etc.).

·       Experience using Docker in local and production environments.

·       Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration.

·       Experience with Git and version control workflows.

·       Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM).

·       Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

·       Preferred

·       5+ years of professional software and web development experience.

·       Experience with C# or TypeScript.

·       Experience with ASP.NET, Laravel, NestJS, Svelte, React, Vue, or Angular.

·       Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or BullMQ.

·       Familiarity with microservice development and communication (REST and gRPC).

·       Familiarity with Cloudflare tools and Zero Trust configurations.

·       Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

·       Familiarity with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Continuous sitting due to computer usage for extended periods.

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

·       Introductory Review – Conducted approximately 80 days after employment to assess initial performance and fit.

·       Monthly Reviews – Focused on measurable project delivery, code quality, and contribution to team goals.

·       Annual Reviews – Comprehensive evaluation of productivity, innovation, and software quality metrics.

WORK SCHEDULE

Standard hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility as required to meet project deadlines and company objectives.
