About the Role
Join a cross-functional engineering team building full-stack software for the construction technology sector. You will lead complex product work from design through delivery, partnering with product, design, and business stakeholders to create reliable systems that address real user needs.
What You'll Do
Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of large, complex technical products.
Build and maintain modular infrastructure across frontend interfaces, backend APIs, and services.
Develop data models, APIs, and integrations with payment and verification services.
Work with product, design, and business partners to understand user needs and inform product and technical decisions.
Deliver production-ready software and promote strong practices for testing, performance, and security.
Mentor teammates and contribute to a high engineering standard through technical feedback and collaboration.
What We're Looking For
At least 4 years of software engineering experience, including experience in a senior-level full-stack role.
A track record of leading the design and delivery of complex production systems, ideally at a high-growth startup.
Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB, with experience in data modeling and API development.
Experience building frontend applications with React and React Native, and working across infrastructure and backend services.
Strong computer science fundamentals, product and user orientation, and clear communication with technical and non-technical partners.
A collaborative, decisive approach to ownership and contributing to product strategy.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary: $190,000 to $250,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.

On-site in San Francisco, California, or New York City.
