Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 7 years of experience with front-end frameworks, full-stack development, or API development.
- 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
Preferred qualifications:
- 7 years of experience with frontend development, including JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Python and or C++.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- Experience in GenAI development.

Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for new product features and user experiences on the Google Drive frontend across web and mobile platforms.
- Lead the design and architecture of user-facing features. Set technical standards, review feature designs, and ensure the high quality and rapid delivery of the team's product output.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering a culture of technical excellence and fast-paced innovation.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and cross-functional teams to shape the product roadmap and translate user needs into technical solutions.
