WSU Tech is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Developer to support and enhance our college information systems. This role is responsible for managing client-server applications, integrating data systems, and supporting enterprise-level software that serves students, faculty, and staff.

This position plays a key role in maintaining system performance, ensuring data integrity, and contributing to innovative technology solutions across the college.

Compensation: $63,065.60/yr

Key Responsibilities:

Administer server and desktop software to ensure reliable access to college systems
Support and manage ERP systems (including Banner modules)
Oversee real-time and batch data integrations between system components
Monitor and report on system performance and usage
Maintain and update web-based applications, including patches and upgrades
Ensure system security and data integrity across platforms
Troubleshoot and respond to technical support requests from users
Collaborate with IT team on projects, priorities, and system improvements
Participate in ongoing professional development (minimum 20 hours annually)
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
Experience with:

Educational information systems
Programming (HTML, JavaScript, .NET/Visual Basic)
Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
