Position Overview
This position is posted for contractor conversion purposes for a Senior Software Engineer.
As a Senior Software Engineer supporting Dealer Portal, Sitecore, Coveo, and related dealer-facing digital capabilities, this role will combine strong technical expertise with hands-on operational support, vendor coordination, and business partnership. The position is responsible for maintaining and improving the Dealer Portal platform, which provides dealer communications, content delivery, application navigation, search, and access to key dealer services. Success in this role requires strong knowledge of Sitecore content management and publishing, Coveo search, MongoDB/Sitecore xDB analytics components, SQL Server and DB2 integrations, web services, batch jobs, and the supporting infrastructure that keeps the platform reliable and available. This role will also support incident resolution, planned maintenance, application lifecycle activities, documentation, and knowledge transfer to help ensure continuity of service for dealers, internal business partners, and support teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level technical support and subject matter expertise for the Dealer Portal and related Sitecore-based dealer communication applications.
- Maintain the reliable operation of dealer-facing content, application navigation, search functionality, dealer communications, and supporting web services.
- Provide production support, incident triage, root cause analysis, and corrective actions across Dealer Portal, Sitecore,
- Coveo, MongoDB, SQL Server, DB2, and related integrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, infrastructure and security teams, vendors, and offshore support resources to resolve issues and implement system changes.
- Support Sitecore publishing, content management, access and configuration changes, and application lifecycle activities.
- Monitor and maintain Coveo search functionality, indexing, usage, licensing, and vendor support requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, architecture knowledge, and knowledge-transfer materials to improve system support and reduce operational risk.
- Analyze and prioritize technical issues, troubleshoot complex problems, and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong initiative and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a production environment.
- Provide occasional after-hours or weekend support for outages, maintenance windows, application releases, and infrastructure changes.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of software engineering experience
OR
- Master's degree and no experience
OR
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience

- Sitecore content management, publishing, configuration, and support
- Coveo Enterprise Search / Coveo Cloud administration, indexing, search troubleshooting, and vendor support coordination
- MongoDB / Sitecore xDB experience for analytics, tracking, and operational support
- .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, C#, WebAPI, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap
- SQL Server, DB2, Entity Framework, stored procedures, connection strings, and data integration troubleshooting
- Windows Server, IIS, application pools, web services, service accounts, certificates, and production support diagnostics
- Source control and deployment tools including TFS, Git, and Team Development for Sitecore
- Job scheduling and operational automation tools such as Control-M
