  • Work with colleagues and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
  • Contribute ideas that improve usability, performance, reliability and development processes.
  • Use source control effectively to manage code changes and support collaborative development.

What You Should Bring

  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts.
  • A logical approach to problem solving and an interest in diagnosing technical issues.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, proactively manage assigned tasks and seek support when needed.
  • Enthusiasm for learning unfamiliar technologies and contributing to production software.

Nice to Have

What You Will Gain

Most new solutions are developed in C# using Razor Pages. The team also supports a varied portfolio of established tools and applications written in ASP.NET, C#, C++ and Python. The successful candidate will receive guidance while gaining experience across this mixed technology environment.

  • Hands-on experience delivering and supporting software used in a professional environment.
  • Practical development experience with C# and Razor Pages, alongside core industry concepts such as application programming interfaces, architecture, and object oriented programming.
  • Exposure to requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance.
  • Experience working within an established development team and receiving constructive technical feedback.
